INTRODUCTION:
Fashion Technology Park is a composite
‘product- innovation -service-technology-
package of physical and intellectual
infrastructure' to help the Indian fashion
business achieve growth and acquire
competitiveness globally.FASHION involves
change, novelty, and the context of time,
place, and wearer. Due to globalization India
has become one of the fastest growing
countries in all the aspects. The Indian film
industry and fashion industry are the most
important veins connecting India with the
other countries. It is very important to make
people aware about the process that is
involved in the production of the garments
they put or the accessories they wear.

NEED OF THE PROJECT:
• The Fashion Technology Park is India’s Strategic
response to the rapidly expanding global
fashion market.
• Thus, it necessitates a streamlined and
synergised organisation of talent and resources
in the fashion and lifestyle sector.
• The Indian fashion industry is in the process of
building future brands, trying to create
networks, relationships and processes.
• Fashion hub will act as a meeting point for all
the major activities related to fashion.
CONCEPT:
• My project is an attempt to make people more aware about
the Indian fashion and the process, produce respect for the
same.
• And to make India emerge as a major hub for international
fashion events.

• Culture, observer and wearer.
• Dress, agency and popular culture.

AIM:

To design interactive, creative and inspiring platforms for


fashion professionals and linking architecture and fashion.
OBJECTIVE:
• To understand the environment of the fashion technology and use
architecture effectively in the creation of that space.

• To create a one stop for fashion related activities and information in a


provided place for varied sectors of people ie; students, exhibitors,
fashion designers, speculators, common public etc

• To design an amalgamation of spaces like institute, exhibition area,


library, conference room, seminar rooms, office, production units, ramp
show areas, food court ,boarding facilities etc.;

• To balance the academic and recreational zones by proper blending of the


physical elements.(building , landscape, circulation , utility etc.)

• To create a distinctive icon for fashion in a city.

• Food joints namely cafeteria and restaurant

SCOPE AND
LIMITATIONS:

• Fashion hub will act as a meeting point for all the major
activities related to fashion.

• Detailed structural drawings , calculation and costing will


not be included.
• Detailed floor plans of institute area will not be included.
