When we add a day
every leap year, that is
the 29th of February, we add just
a day as a date, not taking or adding
a week’s day. We do not change that
week to be six or eight days long.

the word for Saturday has as its root
meaning “Sabbath.”

The history of the Jews, who have
consistently kept the Sabbath over
the centuries indicates clearly

a) Jesus died on Good
Friday. The day that He
died is called in scripture
“the day before the
Sabbath.”

commandment.

c) Following the Sabbath came
Sunday. Jesus rose on the Sunday,
the first day of the week. The Bible
