OF LIFE GABRIEL MARK INOT ROBERT CLYDE CRISTOBAL INVIOLABILITY OF LIFE
Considering the life is a gift from God, it is
sacred and inviolable. The Inviolability of life also called as Sanctity of life. Inviolability of life is a principle of implied protection regarding aspects of sentient life that are said to be holy, sacred or otherwise such value that they are not to be violated. IMPORTANCE OF INVIOLABILITY OF LIFE
The Bible teaches that human beings are
created in the image of God. It also teaches that murder is forbidden. Christians also believe that only God should choose when life begins and ends. It also has an impact on beliefs about issues such as abortion and euthanasia. MORAL EMPLICATION The dignity of every human life, as it is a gift from God, must be defended and protected. All human beings are included (each and every human being), at all stages of existence, with every quality of experience, reflecting every type of human diversity, and encompassing every possible quality of relationship to the person who does the perceiving. What all are included in is a vision of their immeasurable worth and inviolable dignity. INVIOLABILITY OF LIFE ACCORDING TO ST. THOMAS AQUINAS The views of St. Thomas Aquinas on the existing natural law theory with Christian exposure accorded a universal sanctity for human life. Thomist version of natural law recognized man made laws only to extend where it goes in tune with the divine reason. The declaration of right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness by the Americans as rights endowed by the nature in 1776 was observed as the spirit of Thomist version. MORAL FRAMEWORK REASON FOR GOODNESS First identify the various courses of action available to us. Second, ask who will be affected by each action and what benefits or harms will be derived from each. And third, choose the action that will produce the greatest benefits and the least harm. The ethical action is the one that provides the greatest good for the greatest number.
