RESEARCH PAPERS REVIEWED
● Mobile Phone Application for Mathematics learning by Supandi, Lilik Ariyanto,
Widya Kusumangsih , A N Aini (2018)

The concept taught was trigonometry. The result of this study show that high scores
were achieved by students indicating improvement in mathematics learning.

● The Effects of Mobile Application in Teaching High School Mathematics by

Jonathan O. Etcuban , Leocineza D. Pantinople (2018)

The research was done using Quasi-Experimental method. The groups had 40 students
each. The result showed that using mobile application improve students’ mathematics
learning.
❑ Effect of a Computer-Delivered Math Fact Intervention as a Supplemental
Intervention for Math in Third and Fourth Grades by Matthew K Burns ,
Rebecca Kanvie and Megan DeGrande (2012)

The study reviews a computer-based math fluency intervention with 216 third and
fourth-grade students. The result of the study shows that the experimental group gains
more scores in their math scores.

❑ mLearning for kindergarten mathematics teaching by H. Ketamo (2002)

For this study, three groups of 6 years old were chosen. They were trained for PC using
dynamic illustrations, static illustrations and control group. The result shows that low
skills students get more benefits from mobile learning than the averagely skilled.
● Using Math Apps for Improving Student Learning: An Exploratory Study in an
Inclusive Fourth Grade Classroom by Meilan Zhang, Robert Trussell and
Rasmiyeh R. Asam (2015)

For this study, three apps were used. The mathematics area dealt was decimals and
multiplications. The result shows that mobile learning apps can be used to close the
achievement gap between struggling students and typical students.
CONCLUSION

These apps and games improved geometry , algebra, trigonometry and

arithmetic skills. The result shows that use of technology motivated the students,
makes mathematics more interactive and enjoyable than the ordinary teaching
practices.
