Activity: Round Robin Introduction
Students will be grouped into four and formed a
circle. Each member will introduce themselves
indicating the following info:
 Name
 Age
 Gender
 Religion
 No. of family members
Questions:
 Based on the output from the previous
activity what are the similarities and
differences of every individual?

Concepts

Identity is the distinctive characteristic


that defines an individual or is shared
by those belonging to a particular
group.
Concepts
 Troubles are private matters that can be explained in
terms of personal characteristics, as well as immediate
relationships with family members, acquaintances, or co-
workers.
 Issues are public matters that can be explained by factors
outside the individual’s control and immediate
environment.
 Sociological Imagination is a quality of mind that will
help people to use the information in a way what they
can think about what is going on in the world and of what
may be happening within themselves.

Concepts
 People who possesses the sociological
imagination can view their inner life and human
career in terms of larger historical forces.

 They can understand their own experiences by


locating themselves in history

 Theycan recognize the responses available to


them by becoming aware of all of the individuals
who share the same situation as themselves.
