OF THE STUDY
• Affordable housing is defined as houses that are deemed affordable to those
with a lower household income as rated by their respective country.
• SCALE : 1000 modular units (Flexible depending on site and demand).
AIM AND OBJECTIVE
• Designing a residential project that caters to the rapidly growing lower class
group (Households earning from 3 lakhs to 6 lakhs per year).
• To design a project that gives a good quality of life to the user while keeping
it affordable.
• Each unit costing between Rs.12-20 lakhs. Unit size between 45sqm - 60
sqm

• 1000 Modular Housing Units
• Studio, 1BHK, 1.5BHK, 2BHK
• Lobby • Social gathering spaces
• Children’s play area
• Security cabins
• Car Parking

• Low land value
• Area surrounding high potential for
urban growth
• Connectivity to various modes of
transportation
• Proximity to institutions, medical
facilities & job opportunities
