Indigenous Peoples in the world remain one of the poorest, most excluded and
disadvantaged sectors of society. They continuously face different issues including
discrimination, poverty and human rights abuse.

recently increased to 1.7 million
(ADF) and the big chunk of that
1.7m are the IPs.

indigenous people are the 4Ps (Pantawid
Pampamilyang Pilipino Program) and to address the
issue regarding the maternal health, the LGU
implemented the “No home- birthing policy”

Best practice in educating Indigenous People on
Health
ADF is a non-profit organization Simple ways but are very effective

Conclusion
Therefore we conclude that respect for human dignity,
freedom, democracy, equality, the rule of law and respect for
human rights, including the rights of persons belonging to
minorities. We have to prevent the discrimination towards the
indigenous people. We recognize that Indigenous Peoples and
the rest of the world live in a general age of crises:
environmental, energy, food, financial, ethical, among others,
as a consequence of policies and attitudes from racist and
exclusionary states.
