Before moving on let’s see how much we can remember
about the music of Latin America

that has a real Latin feel.

Choose your title
• 1 Mountain Journey – descent to the Amazon
• 2 Amazon River Journey
• 3 Amazon Jungle Journey
• 4 Amazon Rainforest Journey

Features
Remember, your piece should include the following features:

• one or more Latin-sounding ostinato patterns (rhythmic


or melodic)
• a main melody, with some syncopation
• Latin percussion sounds
• Ternary form (A B A)
• No more than three minutes’ long.
