• On-The-Job Training (OJT) is normally given by

a senior employee or supervisor. The trainee is


shown how to perform the job and allowed to
do it under the trainee’s supervision.

• In Vestibule training, procedure and equipment


similar to those used in the actual are set up in
a special working area called a vestibule.
• Apprenticeship training dates back to biblical
times. It is frequently used to train personnel in
skill trades, such as carpenters, bricklayers,
electricians, mechanics and tailors.

• Classroom training is conducted off the job


and is probably the most familiar method of
training
