INTRODUCTION
One of the famous quotes of the revered
philanthropist Nelson R. Mandela is states,
“Education is the most important weapon
which you can use to change the world”. He
also emphasized that Education extends
beyond the development of skills we need for
economic success. It can contribute to nation-
building and reconciliation
INTRODUCTION
The Republic Act 105330 or the so called
“Enhanced Basic Education Act of 2013” reforms
the 10 years of basic education by following the
international standard of 12-year basic education.
This reform in our education system brings
confusions and queries all across the country but
after thorough research and studies of dignified
scholars, adopting the new system will benefit our
learners to prepare them in our competitive and
changing world of employment.
INTRODUCTION
“Work Immersion refers to the part of the Senior
High School (SHS) Curriculum consisting of 80
hours of hands-on experience or work simulation
which the Grades 11 and 12 students will undergo to
expose them to the actual workplace setting and to
enrich the competencies provided by the school
under the supervision of the School Head and the
designated personnel of the Partner”.
INTRODUCTION
Like most government endeavors, public education cannot
succeed without the support of the private sector. With
the help of companies and business groups, programs by
the government are important in building a strong future
for the country that would enhance our competitiveness
in the global community and would advance the
competencies of Filipino graduates to stand at par with
global practices and be equipped with relevant skills and
knowledge in their chosen professions. Different programs
will give the youth a steady and confident footing in
pursuing a career that will empower them to become able
and productive participants in the shared task of nation-
building.
INTRODUCTION
This study hopes to explore the experiences and shared
stories of the immersed grade 12 caregiving students of
Sagay City Senior High School. It aims to discover how
learners’ life and their career skills help them prepare in
making decisions on postsecondary education or on their
employment. Perhaps after the Immersion, these
Caregiving students would pursue Healthcare Courses or
have a change of heart and realized that Caregiving is not
really for them. Thus they will not have a hard time in
choosing their path later in their chosen field. It minimizes
the wastage of time, money and effort in college because
of the certainty of their decision.
STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

immersion experiences of Sagay City Senior High
School TVL-Caregiving students.

retrieving experiences of 3 immersed grade 12

eligible to land for a job after graduation. Those enrolled
