What is Student Diversity?
 Having a diverse group of students simply means
recognizing that all the people are unique in their own
way. Their differences could consist of their reading
level, athletic ability, cultural background, personality,
religious beliefs, and the list goes on.

1.Socio-economic status – the millionaire’s lifestyle
differs from that of the middle income or lower
income.

2. Thinking/Learning style – some learn better by being


seeing something, others by listening and still others
by manipulating something.
3. Exceptionalities – in class there maybe one who has
difficulty in spoken language comprehension or in
seeing, hearing, writing and etc.

5. Vary the examples you use to illustrate concept in order to
provide multiple contexts that are relevant to students from
diverse backgrounds.
7. Adapt to the students diverse backgrounds and the learning
styles by allowing them personal choice and decision-making
opportunities what they will learn and how they will learn it.
