HOW DO THEY LIVE?

• Fungi are unable to make their own

food so they take carbohydrates,
proteins, and other necessary nutrients
from living organisms or dead matters
where they inhibit.
• They discharge a chemical called an
enzyme which breaks down complex
nutrients and turn them to a simpler
substance that the hyphae can absorb.
