Experimental Shutter Speed

Harry Main
My intent was
to capture the
water as it
squirted out of
a bottle.
I didn’t do this
as the
camera’s focus
is on the water
droplets in the
air instead of
the stream.
The shutter
speed is
1/4000 in this
photo, to
freeze the
motion of the
water.
In this photo,
my intention
was to draw a
question mark
with the light
on my phone.
I succeeded in
this as the
question mark
is easily
identifiable
and the
background is
dark enough.
The shutter
speed was 5
seconds, to
allow the light
to stream.
My intention
with this
photo was
to draw a
spiral.
This photo
was a
success and
the
background
isn’t milky.
The shutter
speed of this
photo was
15 seconds.
My intention
was to capture
Luke writing
his name using
the light on his
phone.
This photo was
a success, the
background is
very low-light
and I like the
different
colours of
lights in the
background.
The shutter
speed was 15
seconds.
The intention
of this photo
was to
capture the
leaves falling
in mid-air
with a quick
shutter speed.
This photo
was a success,
but there is a
shadow of
someone off
camera in the
background.
The shutter
speed was
1/3200
seconds.
