Functions of Journalism are to Inform,
Educate, Guide and Entertain. The press
performs a very important role as
means of mass communication
in the modern world. The press tries to
inform its reader objectively about what
is happening in their community,
country and the world at large.
 RIGHTS AND
RESPONSIBLES
Rights and responsibilities help make
our communities better. Rights are
freedoms we have that are protected by
our laws,
while responsibilities are duties or
things that we should do. In order to be
good citizens, or members of a
community, we must understand
our rights and responsibilities.

news websites or preparing news to be broadcast.

ITS FUNCTION
The demand generated by advertising,
public relations, and sales promotion "pulls"
the goods or services through channels of
distribution, notes "Reference for
Business." One of the powerful
functions of advertising is to generate
consumer demand for specific products,
services and ideas through ad campaigns
PROFESSIONAL AND
ETHICAL STANDARS
Professional ethics encompass the personal and
corporate standards of behavior expected by
professionals. The term professionalism was also
used for the military profession around this same
time. Professionals and those working in
acknowledged professions exercise specialist
knowledge and skill.
 PUBLIC RELATIONS AND
ITS FUNCTION
Public relations functions are designed to help build
trust and credibility with groups that are important to
your organization. They help raise awareness about
your organization as well as give it a chance to define,
control and distribute its message to those both inside
and outside your company.
 STANDARD AND
RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsibility is an ethical concept that refers to the
fact that individuals and groups have morally based
obligations and duties to others and to larger ethical
and moral codes, standards and traditions.
