in Chemical Engineering from the University of the
Philippines Diliman.

Management, which she received in 2006 with high
distinction and an outstanding thesis award.
 She received a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in
Industrial Engineering from De La Salle
University in 2010.

 CONTRIBUTIONS
▪ Her research is on the development of mathematical
models, which she studies in order to help environmental
decision-making.
▪ It has allowed for better identification of the appropriate
technologies to use in order to conserve resources and
minimize the environmental impacts of industrial
processes.
 Her models have allowed the minimization of national
and global concerns, such as climate change, efficient
water, and CO2 capture and storage. Currently, she has
25 Scopus-listed publications with an h-index of 11.

 She is also apart of the Disaster R.E.A.L.M. team, who

helps analysts and policymakers to specify the disaster
scenario simulation parameters.
