A bucket list is something everyone

should have. This is a series of tasks that

you would like to complete before “kicking
the bucket” and dying. It's a collection of
inspirational goals that you'd like to
accomplish in your life
The “You only live once” or mentality is all about having an
experience without thinking about consequences.

The popular acronym captured the hearts of many. It

takes hold of the minds of thousands with the tyranny of the
urgent, motivating a kind of desperate restlessness to squeeze the
last drop of pleasure out of these quickly fading days.
The is a new spin to an old
lie. It has pass through different
names:
•The Bucket List
•Carpe Diem
•Eat, Drink, Be Merry
What makes a TRAP? How does it make us a
slave?
When we believe that the only pleasures available to us
are those we can accumulate in the fabric of our short
lives. When we allow a chaotic frenzy erupts in our hearts
and minds. Regret and gloom drives us captive:
“I can’t believe I’ll never get to see Italy!”
“What if I never find a husband or have children”
32 And what value was there in fighting wild beasts—
those people of Ephesus[a]—if there will be no
resurrection from the dead? And if there is no
resurrection, “Let’s feast and drink, for tomorrow we
die!”
(1 Corinthians 15:32)
13 Then someone called from the crowd, “Teacher,
please tell my brother to divide our father’s estate with
me.” 14 Jesus replied, “Friend, who made me a judge
over you to decide such things as that?” 15 Then he
said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is
not measured by how much you own.”

(Luke 12, NLT)

• 16 Then he told them a story: “A rich man had a fertile
farm that produced fine crops. 17 He said to himself,
‘What should I do? I don’t have room for all my
crops.’ 18 Then he said, ‘I know! I’ll tear down my barns
and build bigger ones. Then I’ll have room enough to
store all my wheat and other goods.
(Luke 12, NLT)
19 And I’ll sit back and say to myself, “My friend, you
have enough stored away for years to come. Now take
it easy! Eat, drink, and be merry!”’
(Luke 12, NLT)
20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! You will die this very
night. Then who will get everything you worked for?’
21 “Yes, a person is a fool to store up earthly wealth but

not have a rich relationship with God.”

(Luke 12, NLT)
What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little
time and then vanishes.
(James 4:14)

“Maybe you don’t care very much whether you make

a lasting difference for the sake of something great.
You just want people to like you. If people would just
be good to you, you’d be satisfied. Or if you could just
have a good job with a good wife, or husband, and a
couple of good kids and a nice car and long weekends
and a few good friends, a fun retirement, and a quick
and easy death, and no hell—if you could have that
(even without God)—you would be satisfied. That is a
tragedy in the making.

#2 Hope beyond
this life
#2 Hope
beyond this
life

‘Look carefully how you walk, not as

unwise, but as wise, making the
best use of time, because the days
are evil. Therefore do not be
foolish, but understand what the
will of the Lord is.”
#2 Hope
beyond this
life

“The plans of the heart belong to

man, but the answer of the tongue
is from the Lord. All the ways of
man are pure in his owns eyes,
but the Lord weighs the spirit.”
#2 Hope
beyond this
life

“There is a way that seems right to a

man, but its end is the way to
death.”
Not that I have already obtained this or am already
perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because
Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not
consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I
do; forgetting what lies behind and straining forward
to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal of the
upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

will get earth thrown in.
Aim at earth and you will
