1) LIST DOWN WHICH AMONG THE HUMAN RIGHTS FOUND
IN 1987 PHIL CONSTITUTION YOU THINK WERE VIOLATED

A. BARANGAY- No violation of human rights in our respective


Barangays.

B. SCHOOL- No Violation of human rights in respective School


C. GOVERNMENT OR PUBLIC INSTITUTION , AGENCY OR OFFICE

Article 2 Section 26 – Right of equal access to opportunities for


public services.

*Violated because only those people in the government or public


officials can benefit from it first rather than ordinary citizens.

Article 13 Section 3- Right to have full and equal opportunities for


employment.

*The state is reluctant in protecting the rights of laborers as


manifested on their failure to promulgate ENDO
D. PRIVATE INSTITUTION, COMPANY, OFFICE OR
CORPORATION
Article 2 Section 18- Right of the workers and promote their welfare

* Violated , because some of the private institution or company does not provide
equal work opportunity hence there are some companies that does not promote full
employment

Article 13 Section 2 – Right to have full and equal opportunities for employment

* This provision is considered to be violated by private companies because


inequality in employment is currently evident for the very reason that Filipinos who
lack of qualifications in terms of educational background are prone to prejudice in
applying jobs
E. TOWN, MUNICIPALITY, PROVINCE OR
CITY
Article 5 Section1 – Right to Vote

•The right to vote is widely recognized as a fundamental human right and this right is not fully
enforced on the Filipinos hence it is commonly violated since not all voters were given the
opportunity to exercise their right to vote on who they truly want but rather there votes have been
bought in exchange of money and goods
F. COUNTRY AS A WHOLE
Article 3 Section 3- Right to life

* Human rights are a vital component of most modern democracies given the fact that it is the most
rampant violations around the world. Just like , extra judicial killings which is very timely and
relevant in Philippines which deprived a person to live harmoniously. Extra judicial killings shows an
unfairment since it doesn’t have any sanction of any judicial proceeding. In addition ,abortion is also
considered as a violation of the right to life considering the fact that an unborn child is deprived to
live
2. Which agency, institution, office or LGU is known or
notorious for violation of human rights? Why?

Answer:
A. GOVERNMENT , the abuse of human beings is abhorrent and throughout
the human history abuse of human begins has been the norm. Government
abuse rights because doing so helps leaders expand or retain their power
furthermore they have the power to oppressed people.

B. PMA, because of their discipline- oriented, strict and superiority centered


culture many cases in terms of Hazing and other violation of human rights are
filed against the institution
3. Which among the human rights violation are top 3
in your list and why?

Answer:
-Article 2 section 18
- Article 3 section 3
- Article 13 section 2

The human rights mentioned above were at the top of our list precisely
because they are most common and timely nowadays.
4. In the scale of 10, how do you rate our governments
compliance in the implementation of human rights?

Answer: We would rate the government 7 , since many forms of


human right violation are unfortunately apparent in the Philippines
due to the administrator’s extensive war on drugs resulting to an
unintentional threat towards the innocent people. Furthermore,
most Filipinos are deprived of their basic necessity and there have
been many unequal cases and injustices
5. WHAT ARE YOUR RECOMMENDATIONS OR
PROGRAMS IN ORDER TO IMPORVE OR ENCHANCE
OUR RESPECT OF HUMAN RIGHTS?

Answer: It all starts from each individual’s profound respect for


fellow human beings. Acknowledging the fact that every person
has an innate right regardless of one’s religion, gender, race,
social statuses and etc., will eventually constitute a significant yet
gradual step to enhancing/improving our respect for human
rights. In addition, one should enhance an awareness of human
rights in order to remind us of our country’s duties and
obligations as a citizen.
