DEFINITION
 a constant, predictable process that involves
growth and development of living organisms.

 Decreased ability to judge

How to deal with
aging people
 Be Sensitive.

 Listen respectfully
 When you ask your mother or father a
question, give your full attention to the
response. If an answer seems impractical,
resist the urge to criticize. Instead, ask more
questions to clarify their intentions.
 Keep your emotions in control
 get help from other family members, get it
from anti aging and other books, support
groups, home health aids, medical
institutions, anywhere it's available

 Limit the conversation if necessary


 Know when it's time to give up and end the
conversation. The best you can do in these
situations is to make your parents
understand that you care about them and
their well-being
 Concentrate on bringing them joy

 Change ‘you’ to ‘I’


 For example, "I'm concerned" or "I was
thinking" sets up less of a confrontational
situation

 Accept what is-Its my parents

 Obedience to your parents is an obligatory
