The method that use this study is through survey


questionnaire. The researcher will use survey
questionnaire to gather information that is beneficial
to a group of individuals, it uses statistical analysis to
collect data. By knowing the unknown variables, we
will be able to evaluate what factors could help the
supreme student government to develop their
leadership skills.

development
This theory, was developed by Mozhgan
Amirianzadeh in 2011 and considered the factors
related to individual, family, school, friend,
university and society as six important and
effective components for the development of
student leadership. Moreover, this theory
mentions that a change in attitude, experience,
ability and action can result in the development
of student leadership development.

BACKGROUND

Through learning, training and development,


this set is developed in three aspects: individual,
group and social. Other fundamental factors are
the family which is the first effective
environment of individual's leadership
development, friends and teachers that has deep
effect on individuals, the schools and training

opportunities to leadership development.

This research used a descriptive quantitative
design. Descriptive research design is a valid method for
researching specific subjects and surpass to more
quantitative studies. The researcher aims to know the
factors assessing the Supreme Students Government in
Compostela National High School. Through this we will
be able to specify what factor had the greater influence
to the assessing of leadership development of SSG.

Compostela National High School
which is located in Poblacion,
Compostela, Cebu. The school
campus had a total population 3,743
students and 372 are senior high
students. The school is under the
Department of Education Region 7.

the Supreme Student Government Officers of
Compostela National High School Day-Class.

grade level or strand etc. were generalized to
preserve anonymity. Participants would be assured

method that also uses the evaluative procedure
to evaluate the statistical probability to gather
the information and the exact frequency of the
analysis using the Likert’s scale to measure the
