withFMCG categories growing at 18.3%
for the financial year 2008-09 (i.e. comparable period of
12 months ended March
2009 over that of March 2008)

 Operating margins expanded by 0.4%, from 14.1%to


14.5%.

crores) grew by15.5% .

 Profit After Tax from ordinary activities before
exceptional items at Rs 2065.20 crores (2007–08:
1795.5 crores) grew by 15% .
 Net profit at Rs 2115.50 crores (2007–08: 1913.53
crores) grew by 10.6% .
