They have different path ways to a far destination which is difficult to discern, yet they are determined to go. They are 3 different kinds of path ways in the painting. The white one is like the people going somewhere where they are not pushed and forced to go and they are not bringing big baggage on their back. The brown one explains people that they haw bigger baggage more than the ones going towards the white path. The Black path explains heavier and harder path to come through I think they are the once forced to leave and they are the ones that will be staying longer to their destinations than the others.
