A survey of 242 current and non-season ticket holders found that management of events/facilities best predicted overall satisfaction, while administration/services and team performance best predicted renewal intention. Demographic factors like age and status as a student also impacted satisfaction and renewal. The top reasons for attending games were reasonable ticket prices, socializing with friends/family, and game atmosphere. The results suggest athletic departments can boost ticket sales by improving services and marketing special incentives to fans.
