STUDENT’S PERCEPTION

ON TEACHERS
DISCIPLINARY ACTION
INTRODUCTION & STATEMENT OF
THE PROBLEM:
 Teachers is said to be the second parent of
students. They tend to discipline. Their disciplinary
action is considered the most environmental factors
that can help learners to develop positive attitudes.
Most of the impact of disciplinary action was having
an achievement in academics. Perhaps, these
disciplinary action had negative side effect. One of
this is having hatred towards a teacher.
 what are the profile corresponding to:
1.1 age 1.2 sex
 what are the perception of students on teachers’
disciplinary action?
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
This study is significant to the following:

 STUDENTS.

LIMITATIONS & DEFINITION OF
TERMS:
 This study is anchored on the perception on teachers’ disciplinary

actions. This research is limited to the students of grade 10 school year

2019-2020 of AGUSAN PEQUENO NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (APNHS).

 STUDENTS.

METHODS & RESPONDENTS:
 This research is a descriptive type of research employing survey

characteristics descriptive because it describe the characteristics of

respondents.

Also this study utilized survey questionnaire.

 The participants of this study were the grade 10 students of Agusan

Pequeno National High School participants 97 students of the school. Out

of 97, only 30 percent of the entire population in the school was

identified as participants.
RESEARCH INSTRUMENTS:

 A researcher made survey questionnaire was used in the study. There

were two parts in the questionnaire. The first part is the profile of the

respondents in which sex and age were asked. The second part is the

questions asked to the participants. The question is what is your

SUMMARY:
 Teachers is said to be the second parent of students. Their disciplinary action is
considered the most environmental factors that can help learners to develop positive

 Researcher aims to answer the question: what are the perception of Student’s On
Teachers’ Disciplinary Action and what are their profile corresponding to sex and age
 The significance were STUDENTS, TEACHERS and SCOPE AND LIMITATION OF THE STUDY.
 This study is anchored on the perception on teachers’ disciplinary actions. This research
is limited to the students of grade 10 school year 2019-2020 of AGUSAN PEQUENO
NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL (APNHS).

the sex the choices were female and male. For age the choices were 14, 15, 16, 17, 18 and
above.

 The second part is the questions asked to the participants: what is your Perception on Teachers’
Disciplinary Action? And the choices were perceptive, corrective, and violent disciplinary action.

 . In the survey we gathered data and the results were: on profile of the respondents. In SEX, 50%
(15) of respondents are Male and 50% (15) were Female.

 In AGE, 23% (7) males were 16 years old and 20% (6) females were 16 years old. 10% (3) males
were 17 years old and 10% (3) females were 15 years old. 6% (2) females were 14 years old, 6%
(2) males were 15 years old, 6% (2) females were 17 years old, and 6% (2) female & male were
18 years old and above.

 And for the student’s perception on teachers’ disciplinary action, there were 53 % (16) female
and 46% (14) male respondents who answer perceptive discipline. 20 % (6) female and male
respondent who answer corrective discipline. And for violent discipline 10% (3) male and 6% (2)
female respondents who answer it.
CONCLUSIONS:

 There were 50% (15) of male in the respondents and also 50% (15) of
female.
 
 23% (7) male and 20% (6) female respondents were 16 years old. 10%
(3) males were 17 years old and 10% (3) females were 15 years old. 6%
(2) females were 14 years old, 6% (2) males were 15 years old, 6% (2)
females were 17 years old, and 6% (2) female & male were 18 years old
and above.
 
 The Perception of Student’s on Teachers’ Disciplinary Action were
perceptive and corrective disciplinary actions.
RECOMMENDATIONS:

 Students must know what are the disciplinary actions.

 Teachers must know or understand the behaviour of

their students so that they know what disciplinary

actions they should apply.
