BREWERY INDUSTRY
INTRODUCTION
The production of beer involves the
blending of the extracts of malt, hops and
sugar with water, followed by its subsequent
fermentation with yeast. The brewing industry
employs a number of batch-type operations in
processing raw materials to the final beer
product.

• The Design Pressure was set to exceed 10%

• For Stainless Steel, a minimum allowance of 2.5 mm should be

6 used.

• 𝑅𝑐 = 𝐷𝑖 , since crown radius should not be greater than the

7 vessel diameter to avoid buckling.

• Standard Steel plate size of 20 ft by 6 ft

• The pressure vessel used a dimple jacket insulated with

9 polyurethane foam and then cladded with stainless steel sheets.
