Materials: two medium sized egg/rubber balls
Outdoor Game * Pass the Egg/Ball Procedures: 1. Let the learners form two groups and stand on their line from the shortest to the tallest. 2. The player in front of the line will hold the egg (rubber ball). 3. Tell the players that the objective of the game is to pass the egg (ball) backwards until it reaches the end of the line without dropping it, lest it ‘breaks.’ 4. Demonstrate how it is to pass the ball “over” the head and “under” between the legs. 5. Let the learners practice passing the ball over and under first about two times. 6. Tell the learners that the last person to receive the egg (ball) must run in front and pass the egg (ball) over. 7. Begin the game. If the learners find it difficult to pass the egg ( ball) over and under, have them all pass the egg (ball) over their heads only or under between the legs only. Outdoor Game * Human Obstacle Procedures: 1. Let the learners form group with 14 members. Seven(7) of them will act as human obstacle while the remaining seven (7) will be the players. 2. The first 7 members will position opposite to their group. Two (2) of them will be in a seating position, four (4) in a standing position with legs widely stretched and the other one (1) will act as a human pole. 3. The next seven (7) members will make a line and take turn in the race. 4. The player will race one at a time until he/she reached the first obstacle. The player will jump to the other side of the seating human obstacle. Then, he/she will crawl passing through the second obstacle. After that, the player will race again until he/she reached the last obstacle, the human pole. From here, the player will make a turn from the human pole and execute the same process going back to his/her group. 5. Tell the players that the objective of the game is to get through the human obstacle without skipping any part. Otherwise, they will execute the game from the beginning. 6. The player in front of the line will proceed to the back of the group after playing the game until everyone is done. The first group to execute the game will be the winner.
Note: Mark the 1st player to avoid conflict at the end of the game.
