PROBLEM STATEMENT
• Young adults and busy
working aged humans typically
forget to water their house
plants
• A self watering planter would
only need to be watered every
2 weeks, approximately
• The planter would be 2 pots, a
reservoir and the plant holder
SOLUTION APPROACH
1. Research requirements for the planter
2. Design bottom reservoir pot
3. Design top pot
4. Send files to 3D printer and check fit
5. Cost analysis
6. Conduct trial for functionality
