Level of Evaluation How to find the Outcome ?
Level 1 – Reaction of the trainees Enquire trainees orally, use a feedback
form at the end of the programme
Level 2 – Learning occurred or not Ask questions orally, give a written test
at the end of the programme
Level 3 – Behavior changed or not Observe on the job; seek report from
the supervisor, peer, customer, or
subordinate
Level 4 – results produced or not Look for outcomes like increase in
sales/productivity in customer care etc
Level 5 – return on investment got or Calculate the cost of training and the
not monetary value of the performance
outcome resulted
