Marketing Plan

Presentation
Hello!
I am Jacob Bedros
I am here to present my product.

2

Before starting and before ending my presentation I will
conduct a live survey based on the raising of hands on
whether you support my product or not. This is used to see
how many people change their minds on my product
before and after seeing my reasoning behind it. With
simply hearing the name Self Stocking Shelves I would like
to now see a count of hands on who currently considers
investment into this product.

Factors For Success
● Stay out of public eye until they see the benefit to our product.
● Increase employee morale. No need for strikes or money grabs from them.
● Getting the product perfected. No need for glitches when entire stores stockers
got fired.
● Spring up overnight with the hundreds of contracts we will have already attained
to decrease the likelihood of imitation especially with our bigger clients like
Meijers, Home Depot, etc.

11
Legal Form Of Ownership
I choose to be a sole proprietor based on the following:
● I had the idea already.
● I do not need anyone else´s money.
● My managers and I can handle everything.
● We will become a corporation in the future. We are too small of an
operation now.

14
Questions Asked In Market Research
▫ How do you feel about seeing unstocked
shelves?
▫ Do you ever really see a stocker that deserves
minimum wage? (i.e. are they working as
efficiently as they could?
▫ Do you realize how much money this would
save businesses, therefore, making products
YOU purchase cheaper?
▫ The future calls for robots taking these easy
jobs so would you want to see this in YOUR 15
What I Concluded From Market
Research
▫ Slow stockers do not deserve minimum
wage.
▫ People are fine with robots coming sooner
than later.
▫ People are happy with the lower prices
coming from the massive cut in labor costs.

16
IT'S A WIN-WIN!
▫ Prices will be lowered.
▫ Stores will be stocked.
▫ Life will be great!

SWOT Analysis & PEST Scan
▫ Internal Strengths & Weaknesses
1. Company Analysis
2. Customer Analysis
▫ External Opportunities & Threats
1. Competition
▫ Environmental Scan
1. Political
2. Economic
3. Socio-Cultural
4. Technological 19
Internal Strengths & Weaknesses: Company
Analysis
▫ Areas of improvement include stocking
coolers which even in product final design
is nothing like shelves.
▫ Managers required to have 10 years of
experience.
▫ We will have more than enough staff at this
time.
▫ I will never run out of financial resources.
▫ All the research completed thus far through
assignments is the best I can find online. 20
Internal Strengths & Weaknesses: Customer
Analysis
▫ My current beginning of product
development customers include stores with
pop on shelves.
▫ Final product development customers
include each and every store in existence.
(large group)
▫ As we inch nearer to the 8 billion rollover
from the current 7.8 our use of the product
individuals are a growing group. 21
External Opportunities & Threats: Competition
▫ I do not have current competitors.
▫ I have seen new drink shelf design like more slippery
material to glide bottles across them in the cooler.
▫ My shelves will auto be pushed forward and stocked 30
seconds after being taken. Therefore people would never
to reach far back.
▫ Final design would also include self ordering based on
inventory all online. No more need for company product
surveyors of shelf and storage inventory. We would also
have an app to see inventory.
▫ Therefore we will be far ahead of the competition if any
imitators come into the market after we launch. They will 22
not be able to compete...
External Opportunities & Threats: Competition
Continued
▫ Again with our uniqueness of final features it will not be
easily imitated.
▫ We need to have hundreds of stores get ready for a single
launch day causing the world and internet to break as it
will be a secret launch.
▫ No one needs to know the formula. No need for
espionage.
▫ I will have lawyers and patents from here to the moon.
▫ There will be cameras and microphones in the factory. At
the beginning and end of each day the security guards
will run every person through a metal detector. No metal
allowed including phones.
23
▫ My product is an innovation to vending machines.
Environmental Scan: Political

▫ No current nor new laws affect my company.

▫ Neither are there government regulations
stopping us.
▫ New regulation may come up that electronically
stocked shelves produce harm to the skin. This
is far fetched but then again people thought
asbestos was a great product.

24
Environmental Scan: Economic
▫ Our economy is currently soaring.
▫ We might go into WW3. This would devastate every
business in America. A stock market could also happen
anytime.
▫ Again final product development includes every store
in the world.
▫ My growth potential is total market takeover. From big
to small stores. To maybe even home storage units…
▫ We are again not affected by money financial costs.
▫ Consumer acceptance again is our biggest gripe. But
when we come to life overnight and have helpers there
explaining it all and answering questions, it is hoped 25
Environmental Scan: Economic Continued

▫ Managers again will be tip top in experience

and we will not except any average Engineer
either.
▫ Again excessive use of patents and lawyers will
be used.
▫ Shipping again will be very low from Tesla
Semis
▫ Product will be made in the USA! No tariff
barriers.
26
Environmental Scan: Socio-Cultural
▫ Need I feel is stores shelves reliably being filled.
▫ Want I fill is customers wanting shelves filled.
▫ When my product is enjoyed by all who use it, as in
stores and people, it will be a tumbling effect of
swamped orders from stores.
▫ My product will never be outdated. We can even
update software.
▫ My product is a classic. Just look at how old the shelves
of stores are… my machine will stay on those shelves
for dozens of years.

27
Environmental Scan: Technological

▫ Companies could try making a better

machine then ours but our unique features
would be unbeatable. Not to mention the
lawyers and patents.
▫ Our product could only become obsolete if
people stop shopping in stores. But Amazon
drone delivery is nowhere near ready. And
everyone still enjoys using their 5 senses
before buying an item. 28
Objectives
▫ Marketing Objectives
▫ Financial Objectives

29
Marketing Objectives
Create a prototype
▫ I must show the store a functional piece of
hardware to get contracts with them.
▫ It is an essential objective that needs to be
taken care of before bringing in stores for
contracts.

30
Financial Objectives
Potential Clients
▫ Bringing the stores innovation teams to our
meetings need to be exciting and enjoyable for
them.
▫ We must invest in our indoor, outdoor, and
everywhere appearance.
▫ Painted walls, comfy chairs, openness, mood
lights, fresh food, gaming, 2 ply toilet paper,
etc.
▫ Essential appeal to their 5 senses to the point 31
Marketing Strategies
▫ Marketing Mix
1. Types of Promotion
2. Price Strategy
3. Distribution Channels
4. Target Markets

32
Types Of Promotion
▫ Associates will leave business cards for
managers.
▫ Cards will have link to our site. There we will have
product testing videos and such.
▫ With our products unique market to stores not
much other promotion is needed.
▫ The site is $15 a month in licensing. Weebly is
$38 a month.
▫ Associate salaries are not associated in cost.
▫ We will use social media in the future.
33
Price Strategy
▫ Raw materials=$50k-$100k per unit.
▫ 2 Tesla semis at $30k a year.
1. The electric ¨fuel¨ price is negligible.
▫ Warehouse is $12.5k a year.
▫ Weebly site is $500 a year.
▫ Avg medium unit is $75k in materials.
▫ Site will state request quote.
▫ Price per unit per month with 25% markup
to sell is revealed in the next few slides... 34
Distribution Channels
▫ We will build products as they are ordered so
no storage needed.
▫ Small display testers in front lobby and some
tester stores to attain contracts.
▫ Tesla semis loaded up for machine transport
to stores.
▫ 100 mile radius of LA distribution.
▫ Warehouses per sq ft is $0.82-$1.53 in LA.
▫ Tesla Semis are $150k a piece.
35
Target Markets
▫ My target market is the entire world's stores. The
low prices this machine allows for and neatness
of it draws in use.
▫ The number will forever grow as stores get made
and people age to use it.
▫ Everyone shops at stores to use the product.
▫ Product is a one time cost to stores.
▫ Neat shelves appeal to stores and as a bonus to
users
▫ Stores enjoy social media use like Wendy's.
