Hi. I’m Ji-hye.


I got a manual about Real-time Online Classes, but I didn’t receive the manual in English yet.
I don’t know when I’ll get the manual in English, so I wrote it in yellow boxes.
Please check ‘1-1. (For Professors - PC) semester1 2020 a Manual of Real-time Online
Classes_in English’ first. Because I didn’t finish mobile manual translation to English.

Maybe My translation is insufficient, but I hope it’ll help you.


We have to test whether LMS system works well from 3/11 to 3/13.

Tip.
During real-time online classes, if you want to
use teaching materials(ex.ppt, pdf, word..) at the
same time, PC environment will be more
convenient.

To be short,
- You have to create schedule for Real-time Online
Classes from week1 to week2 in advance.
- You have to comply with your timetable.
3. How to log in 학습관리시스템 (LMS)

To do Real-time Online Classes,


First, professors log in 학습관리시스템 (LMS).
Second, professors create an account for Zoom
 Log in Kyungsung potal (using
a certificate and password)
 Click ‘ 학습관리시스템’
 Click ‘LMS 바로가기’
To do Real-time Online Classes,
First, professors log in 학습관리시스템 (LMS).
Second, professors create an account for Zoom.
1. In the Kyungsung potal mail box, please find
‘Zoom 계정초대’ and click the mail.

2. In the mail, click ‘ 요청승인’ .


3. Click ‘ 비밀번호를 사용하여 로그
인’ .
4. Please fill in these 4boxes.
1box- first name
2box- last name
3,4box- password

Click ‘ 계속’
5. And then you’ll see ‘ 회의 테스트를
시작합니다 .’.
How to create a schedule of Real-time Online Classes from week1 to week2
In the LMS , click your class.
2. Click ‘Zoom’.

3. To be create schedule for


classes, Click ‘Schedule a
New Meeting’.
3) How to Schedule a New Meeting (1)

4. Topic : write topic of the class.


(ex. Week 1, Real-time online classes OT)

5. Description : an explanation of the topic.

6. When : You have to comply with your timetable.

7. Duration : write how long it will take to give this class.


For example, if your class is 영문학세미나 (Tuesday 3,4 /
Thursday 4), you have to schedule 영문학세미나
(Tuesday 3,4) and 영문학세미나 (Thursday 4) separately.

8. Video :
Host(professors) -> on
Participant(students) -> off

9. Audio : click ‘Both’

10. Meeting Options :


□ Require meeting password
■ Enable join before host
■ Mute participants upon entry
■ Use personal Meeting ID
□ Enable waiting room
■ Record the meeting
automatically!!
○ On the local computer
● In the cloud !!

11. Click ‘save’


12. You can see the schedule you
set up.

13. The schedule can be added to


‘Google Calendar’ or ‘Outlook
Calendar’ or ‘Yahoo Calendar’.

14. You can delete, edit and start


this meeting.
How to do Real-time Online Classes
1. In your class, click
‘Zoom’
2. Click ‘start’ button of
your class.
3. If you didn’t download
Zoom, click ‘ 다운로드 및 실행’
.

 Click this file and download it.


5. Click ‘ 스피커 및 마이크 테스트‘
.

6.
 스피커테스트 (Sound test)
:
if you hear a bell ring, click
“ 예 (Yes)”.

 마이크테스트
(microphone test) :
first, speak and stop.
second, if you hear your
voice, click “ 예” .

 After finishing sound and


microphone test, click
“ 컴퓨터 오디오로 참가“ .

7. Click blue box, 컴퓨터


오디오로 참가 .

9. You can see students’ screen.
If you click a student’s screen, you
can see the screen enlarged.

10. Click ‘ 참가자 관리’ you can se


all of participants.
- Click ‘ 모두 음소거‘
- Click ‘ 더보기’ please check tha
‘ 입장시 참가자 음소거’ is marked
active.

11. Click ‘ 채팅’ You can chat with


participants during a class. Professor
should use the chat room to
communicate with participants such
as inquiry about registering a class.
12. During real-time online
classes, if you want to use
teaching materials(ex.ppt, pdf,
word..) at the same time, click
‘ 화면 공유’ .

13. click the file that you want


to use click ‘ 공유’ .
 control box

14. There are tree screen such as


control box screen, the teaching
material screen and your face screen.

If you click ‘ 주석작성’ in the


control box, you can write on the
screen.

if you click ‘ 공유중지’ in the


control box, you can stop showing
the teaching material screen.
15. If you want to finish the
real-time online class, click ‘
회의 종료‘ click ‘ 모두에
대해 회의 종료 .
Then your class will be done.
To be short,

1. If you want to show your face screen and a teaching material at the same time, PC environment
will be more convenient.

2. If you want to give classes in mobile, please turn on airplane mode not to interrupt your class.
Furthermore, in mobile, you can’t use a face screen and teaching material screen at the same time.
You can just show participants only the face screen or teaching material screen in the mobile.
