• Provide further classification of how much effort will be required

• Identifying each activity to accomplish both intermediate and end
work results
• Listing the types of activities
• Each activities should be clearly stated and described

• Some tasks can be done anytime, while others cannot

• Working hours
• How many hours of a staff member’s time will be devoted to
complete the work
• Estimates can be done
- Experienced accumulated by estimator
- Estimated performance on previous engagement
- Keeping track of budgeted vs. actual time
