Types of resumes

the position you are applying to.

What must your resume contain?
-Recruiters spend in average 6 seconds reviewing a resume before making the initial decision.
They look at:
- Name, current title and company
- Current position, start and end dates
- Previous title and company, but also start and end dates
-Job history and skills have to be easily accessible
-Job hoppers are fast eliminated, but also who have typos in their presentations
-Create a “business like” e-mail address (avoid addresses like sexymamasita89@yahoo.com)

- Double, triple check your contact details
- Use reverse chronological order – it’s faster to see what the candidate is doing now
- Describe a bit the companies you worked for – “being a director of a huge company
means something different than a director at a small company”
- Do not list achievements in dense blocks of text
- White space draws the reader’s eye to important points
- Do not use crazy fonts or colors
- Do not mark “references upon request”
