The process of scheduling and


organization time to determine how much
time is required to complete multiple direct
and indirect tasks, and when such tasks are
required.

In education, examples of direct tasks


consist of: reading assignments, homework
assignments, projects, test preparation. In
addition, examples of indirect tasks consist of:
work and family responsibilities, grocery
shopping, and recreation.
IMPORTANCE OF TIME MANAGEMENT

You need time to get what you want out of life
You can accomplish more with less effort

STRESS
Stress is the emotional and physical strain
caused by our response to pressure from
the outside world.
It's almost impossible to live without some
stress. And most of us wouldn't want to,
because it gives life some spice and
excitement. But if stress gets out of
control, it may harm your health, your
relationships, and your enjoyment of life.
SIGNS OF STRESS
 STRESS CAN CAUSE BOTH MENTAL AND
PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS. THE EFFECTS OF STRESS
ARE DIFFERENT FOR DIFFERENT PEOPLE.
 THE MENTAL SYMPTOMS OF STRESS INCLUDE
 TENSION
 IRRITABILITY
 INABILITY TO CONCENTRATE
 FEELING EXCESSIVELY TIRED
 TROUBLE SLEEPING
THE PHYSICAL SYMPTOMS OF STRESS

The physical symptoms of stress includes:-


 Dry mouth.
 A pounding heart.
 Difficulty breathing.
 Stomach upset.
 Frequent urination.
 Sweating palms.
 Tight muscles that may cause pain and trembling.
HOW TO MANAGE THE STRESS:-

STRESS MANAGEMENT is the ability to


maintain control when situations, people, and events
make excessive demands. What you can do to
manage your stress? What are some strategies?

Set realistic goals for yourself


Learn how to best relax yourself
One at a time is best.
Give yourself a reward
Create a balanced schedule
Begin to manage the effects of stress
Get enough sleep
Try to be positive

MYTH #1: ALL STRESS IS BAD. NO
