warehouse we must look at the Markets
& Local Environment Factors.
Markets
 Any new warehouse should be as close as
possible to major suppliers, producers, and
customers. This will help reduce lead
times, decrease transportation costs, and
enhance responsiveness.
 The factor to consider here is who are the
major supply chain partners and how you
can make the supply chain more efficient
by strategically selecting the warehouse
location.    
Local Environment
 local environmental factors such as
weather conditions and risk of exposure
to natural disasters should also be
considered.
 Is the warehouse in a flood zone? 
 Other local environmental factors that
should also be considered include traffic
congestion.

 According to the Collins dictionary a
warehouse facility is a place to store
goods.
 A warehouse is a large building
where raw materials
or manufactured goods are stored until
they are exported to other countries
or distributed to shops to be sold.
