 Probe Components - Host Server
 The R70S is connected to the Omni-Q through a
Host Server.
 The Host Server mediates between the R70
probe and the QManager.
 It runs on the Linux operating system.

 Tools for working with R70S - WinSCP
 WinSCP is an open source free SFTP client for
Windows based on SSH.
 Its main function is safe copying of files between
a local and a remote computer.
 It has a GUI and can also be used as a text
editor.
 It is freely available and downloadable from the
internet at http://www.winscp.com/.

 Run the WinSCP utility on the remote unit:
• In the host name field type the IP address of the R70
host
• Type in the user name and password (root and
Radmin1)

 R70s Probe XML Files
 The R70S comes with a set of xml files some of
which you can edit to enable or disable
processes, set time-outs and determine various
parameters for troubleshooting.

 To edit the xml files, use the WinSCP application

enabled=“yes’’. When changing it to No the process
won’t start up.
