INTRODUCTION
• In principle the construction of buildings, the main
function of the foundation to transfer a loading
column received to the earth.
• Foundation piling is one of several basic types and
selected from some types of foundation.
• This study to types of rectangular reinforced
concrete piles (RC Piles) and a two ( 2 ) piles group.
• Piling work must be done with very careful and
minimize mistakes and failure.
PROBLEM STATEMENT
• Usually, failure of the piling works is the
accuracy of the setting centroid point.
• This will lead to changes in load pressure
points as well as changes to the base strength
of the pile and the load distribution to the pile
cap constructed.
• In this regard, a program analysis using
Microsof Excel used and based on the code of
practice EN 1992 EUROCODE MS 1-1 2010.
OBJECTIVES
• To determine the number/s & location of
replacement pile due to pile failure.
• To produce the optimum location pile
replacement graph due to failure of the RC
pile applies at a variable angle of rotation.
• To determine the new pile cap dimension by
taking account of replacement pile location.

METHODOLOGY
• Microsoft Excel is chosen to fulfil the objectives
of this study.
• A program will be created to perform the
calculation as the user only need to input the
required data.
• This program consists of several stages of
analysing the pile cap.
