1. First study the sentence.


Determine what is needed to complete the
sentence correctly.
2. Then study each answer based on how well it
completes the sentence.
3. Do not eliminate incorrect answers by looking only
at the answers.
4. Never leave any answer blank.
5. Do not spend too much time on the structure
questions.
Skill 1: Subject and Verb agreement
1. A sentence in English must have at least one subject and
one verb.
2. A subject is always a noun.
3. S + verb > The boys are playing football in the park.

Skill 2: Object of prepositions
1. A preposition is followed by a noun or a pronoun that is
called an object of preposition.
2. If a word is an object of preposition, it is not a subject.
3. Examples of prepositions are in, at, on, to, by, behind,
after, etc.

Example1: After his exams, Tom will take a trip by boat
