FFT FLOW CHART

Step by step
1. Check the RTWP if greater than -90 or -95 with 2 days at 3AM
 If consistent or intermittent the RTWP in 3AM with in 2 days
 Verify if the site have alarm and affects in RWTP throughput
 If no alarm request the FFT testing

2. Analyze the FFT logs

 The logs must be 5 mins – 10 mins
 determine if the output is narrow band/ wide band interference
 suspected PIM you may verify in the huawei tools (FFT data analyzer )
 if the narrow band interference endorse to activate the NBIS Feature then back to step 1
 if the wide band interference endorse to activate the AIR Feature then back to step 1
 Sometimes in the log in FFT testing we scan see if the sites are suspected PIM testing

3. PIM test analysis RTWP vs Power

 if have PIM visit the site check the equipment (Check hardware, cable connections)
 if have no PIM find the nearest neighbor verify the RTWP and do the FFT testing
 if the neighbor have interferences means in that area theirs have repeater and etc. that makes RTWP high.
 If the site have interference in FFT and PIM after the activate the NBIS or AIR Feature need to reset the RRU

There are 3(three) kinds of Scan
Mode (in LMT):
1. High Resolution Online : No
affecting on service
2. Broadband Online : No affecting
on Service
3. Broadband Offline : Need to
block RRU, Services will be affected
(Please be noted that Offline Scan
is able to exclude service and inter-
modulation)

Narrow band interference
Analysis
Narrow band interference phenomenon, Obvious
signal burst can be found.

 4. Type LST ULOCELL
 5. Type LST RRU
 6. Find the site and right click select Maintenance Client
 7. Go to Monitor and Click the Board RTWP
 8. Open the “RRU/RFU OuputPower & Board RTWP ” in the
monitor windows
 9. Perform the “STR RFTEST” and chose

PIM analyzing sample (RTWP vs
POWER)
For this F2 of Sector 1 both power and
RWTP increase in the same time means
the site have internal interferences.

It is possible theirs have problem

antennas, cables, dirty or loose
connectors
