What is an office package ?

 An office package is a collection of productivity software, usually

containing a word processor, spreadsheet and presentation program.
 There are many different brands of office packages.
 The common brands are Microsoft office, Apache Open office and WPS
office
The word processor

 The word processor enables the user to create and edit documents.
 The word processor offers word processing features such as templates,
formatting and macros.
Spreadsheet package

 The spreadsheet packages such as Microsoft excel offers features such

as formulas, graphing tools and pivot tables
 Spreadsheet packages commonly used to compile and analyse data,
present budgeting analysis and to process data into meaning and
understandable information. They can also help mathematically with
logical and mathematical functions.
 It is used in data and information analytics
Presentation Packages

 Presentation packages such as Microsoft PowerPoint is a slideshow

presentation application that enables users to create and edit slides.
 The features such transitions, animations and slideshow assist a user to
create a professional presentation.
 They are used to come up with presentations such as business proposals
or school assignments
