transportation vehicles. The diesel cars have internal combustion engine, where combustion is done by fuel-air mixture.
The physical properties of diesel fuel as a finished product from distillation process in refinery, depends upon the nature of
the original crude oil extracted from earth’s crust The various mixture of physical properties like volatility, ignition quality,
viscosity, gravity, stability, etc. specify the different fuel characteristics

ENGINE PERFORMANCE STUDY

The diesel engine emission is the major contribution to pollution Fuel Consumption
and disaster. To counter this issue several emission regulations
have been imposed for the past decades. In recent studies, it has Air to fuel ratio
been concluded that alcohol-based fuel can be the major diesel
alternative fuel. Short-chain alcohol (such as ethanol, methanol, Engine Load
butanol, pentanol and hexanol) are being used as fuel blending
components to improve unleaded diesel fuel. The alcohol RPM
functional group increases the oxygen percentage in blended fuel,
which improves blends knock resistance. To deal with the Brake Power
excessive NOx emission from biodiesel, antioxidant clove is
blended with biodiesel. This decreases the NOx emission and Brake Thermal Efficiency
increases the brake thermal efficiency and decreases the brake
specific fuel consumption
