TYPES OF VILOLENT CRIME

 Armed robbery:

Armed robbery is a form of

robbery which involves theft
of property and carrying (or
the pretense) of a weapon. It
is considered a higher
category of offenses relating
to thefts and the use of force.
Even though many of the
elements of theft, robbery,
and armed robbery overlap,
an armed robbery conviction
has significantly harsher
consequences.
TYPES OF VILOLENT CRIME

 Mugging:

Mugging involves an
actual or threatened
physical attack with the
intent to rob someone.
Also known as robbery,
mugging is normally a
street crime carried out
by petty thieves
TYPES OF VILOLENT CRIME

 ASSAULT:

It is considered an act
of violence, which is
defined as any
intentional act that
causes another person
to fear that he is about
to suffer physical harm.

 MANSLAUGHTER:

Manslaughter usually
refers to an unintentional
killing that results from
recklessness or criminal
negligence. Manslaughter
is not as serious a crime
as murder. On the other
hand, it is not a justifiable
or excusable killing for
which little or no
punishment is imposed.

Tax evasion is using illegal

means to avoid paying taxes.
Typically, tax evasion schemes
involve an individual or

their income to the Internal

Misrepresentation may take the
form either of underreporting
income, inflating deductions, or
hiding money and its interest
altogether in offshore accounts.

occurs when a person
offers, gives, receives, or
