PRACTICES AND IMPORTANT POINTS TO AVOID COLLISION:

regulations.

3. In the event of a collision, or suspected collision:


a) Provide necessary assistance to the other vessel.
b) Report the incident to Master, owner, DoC holder, nearest Maritime Rescue Center, and to MARLOW.
c) Save VDR evidence

4. Every year we in Marlow have a number of such cases when local authorities always blame the vessel and
never the fishing boat and might take legal action directly against involved seafarer.
