As you grow , your physical
appearance changes, it’s
natural. As you age, you
increase in height and weight.
Many changes occur during the
growth years, often cause
temporary problems like too
much perspiration, body odor,
acne and many more.
Answer the following
questions:
Are your old clothes still fitted to you?
Are you having difficulty in doing chores?
Do your classmates tease you and call
you chubby?
Are you still in front of the line when your
teacher said find your height?
Are you tall enough to reach or get the
object, placed on a high area without
using a ladder or a chair?

GROUP ACTIVITY 1
1. Divide the class into four or five
depending upon the class size.
2. Show a growth chart and use the
weighing scale and meter stick to measure
your own height and weight.
3. Record the data in the chart.
4. Use the BMI formula or chart to assess
your nutritional status.
