EIGHT (8) GREAT REASONS
TO TELL THE TRUTH
1. Telling the truth lets everyone know
what really happened. There is less
misunderstanding, confusion or
conflict.
2. Telling the truth protects innocent
people from being blamed or
punished.
3. Telling the truth allows everyone to
4. You usually get into less trouble for
telling the truth than for lying (and
getting caught).
5. Other people trust you more when
you tell the truth.
6. You do not have to tell more lies to
keep your story straight.
7. You gain a reputation for being
truthful – a trait that most people
value.
8. Telling the truth helps you feel

The establishment of any

relationship, both individual and

Mejia Honesty is perhaps just as
important a factor in one’s
communication’s skills as
trust. –Ross Elkins
The honest person will live
safely… But dishonesty will
hurt those who are not
trustworthy. –King Solomon
This above all: to your own
self be true, and it must
follow, as the night the day,
thou can’t then be false to any
person. –William Shakespeare
The best agreement we can make
with people is, ‘Let there be truth

Honesty is a principle in which we are bound to live
for. It takes a strong faith, a fear of God to live by this
principle.
There are some people who are living in dishonesty:
lying, cheating, indulging, manipulating and serving
their on vested interests, but will lead them nowhere,
for the Bible explicitly tells, “But if you fail to do this,
you will be sinning against the Lord, and you may be
sure, that your sin will find you out.” (Numbers 32:23).
The freedom to choose is ours l, to be honest or not,
Than
k you!
