Ford Promotes the Versatile Ranger through an Off-road Trip on Mountain Terrains

To promote the versatile Ranger and CSR values, Ford Vietnam has collaborated with Pick-up Vietnam Club (PVC), the biggest community for domestic
pick-up truck owners, on a trip to the mountainous Xin Man, Ha Giang. All members of this adventure are Ford Ranger owners, who challenge themselves
on rough and heavily muddy terrains while the Ford Ranger Wildtrak stands out with the ‘Built Ford Tough’ design and on- & off-road capabilities. At the
initiative of 03 videos, the campaign features a diversity of Ford Ranger Wildtrak owners who use cars for mountain farming, extreme touring and
off-road trips, in which their charity activities for 800 children in Xin Man are additionally highlighted.

Outcome:
• Mountain farming: 40K views, 450 positive reactions, 38 shares
• Extreme Touring: 48K views, 250 positive reactions, 21 shares
• Off-road Trip: 127K views, 1.4K positive reactions, 140 shares

Truong Kieu Diem, a rising singer-songwriter and a Ford Ranger Wildtrak owner, also joined us on this memorable trip. Inspired by Pick-up truck drivers’
spirits and life in underprivileged areas, Diem has shared her 05 story posts about the trip to her 111K followers and received more than 5,6K positive
reactions per post. Her exclusive sharing about the off-road trip also gained extra 2.8K supportive responses from her fans and car community members.
Conveyed in 06 outstanding angles (mountain farming, extreme touring, trip recap, pick-up truck owners’ portrait, pick-up truck driving experience, must-
have equipment for a pick-up car owner), the content has yieled about 30 coverages from media including top-tier outlets such as Dep, ICTNews,

Pick-up Vietnam Club (PVC)

Established in 3/2013, under the Department of Sport and Gymnastic of

Hanoi, PVC is a big car community with 200 official members, 9,000
folllowers and thousands of supporters in key forum nationwide. More than
60% members of PVC club are Ranger owners. Not only providing a
favourable environment to exchange love and knowledge on car driving, it
also promotes social responsibility via annual volunteer programmes.
