ROTATING EQUIPMENT PRESENTED BY: JEFFERSON A. ROMERO PRESENTED TO: ENGR. JHUN A. CABEBE DYNAMO • A dynamo is an electrical generator that creates direct current using a commutator. Dynamos were the first electrical generators capable of delivering power for industry, and the foundation upon which many other later electric-power conversion devices were based, including the electric motor, the alternating-current alternator, and the rotary converter. Today, the simpler alternator dominates large scale power generation, for efficiency, reliability and cost reasons. A dynamo has the disadvantages of a mechanical commutator. Also, converting alternating to direct current using power rectification devices (such as vacuum tubes or more recently via solid state technology) is effective and usually economical. OBJECTIVES
•TO generate current when in
needed •TO minimize usage of electricity from electric contributor OPERATIONAL DEFINITION OF TERMS
Dynamo ELECTRIC WIRE
• A wire is a long thin piece of metal that
is used to fasten things or to carry electric current. ... If you wire something such as a building or piece of equipment, you put wires inside it so that electricity or signals can pass into or through it. HARDWOOD
• Hardwood is wood from dicot trees. These are
usually found in broad-leaved temperate and tropical forests. In temperate and boreal latitudes they are mostly deciduous, but in tropics and subtropics mostly evergreen. Hardwood contrasts with softwood (which is from gymnosperm trees). HOT MELT ADHESIVE (HMA)
•also known as hot glue, is a form
of thermoplastic adhesive that is commonly sold as solid cylindrical sticks of various diameters designed to be applied using a hot glue gun. MOBILE CAR CHARGER
•In simple terms, a USB car
charger is a small gadget that plugs into a vehicle's cigarette lighter/accessory port, and provides one or more powered USB sockets PROTOTYPE OF THE MACHINE TOP VIEW FRONT VIEW RIGHT SIDE VIEW LEFT SIDE VIEW THANK YOU
