Introduction of Wi-Fi Modif

Before You Start
 It is recommend to modify Wi-Fi parameter via “Maintain ONT” for a specific
ONT.

 When a end user reports a issue, you can check the Wi-Fi parameter via
“Maintain ONT” and may restore the service by modifying some parameter.

 Modify Wi-Fi parameter via “U2000 VAS Profile” for all the ONTs which bind this
profile.

According to company security regulations of Huawei, it’s not allowed to modify

Wi-Fi password.

Modify Wi-Fi via U2000 VAS
There is on GUI for Wi-Fi, so we have to export the old VAS profile and then
modify the parameter manually, and finally import the VAS profile.

Here are some usual parameter in the table.

Modify Wi-Fi via U2000 VAS
Here we take “Modify AutoChannel” as an example.

 Open the VAS profile exported from U2000, find the line of
“WLANConfiguration” and delete the follow line.

 Add the following lines:

Modify Wi-Fi via U2000 VAS
 Save the xml as “Template Modify”.

 New a VAS profile by importing this xml.
