What is PMS

Performance Management system is the


systematic process of: Planning work and
setting expectations; Continually Monitoring
performance; Developing the capacity to
perform; periodically rating performance, and
Rewarding good performance.

• Is the accomplishment ,execution ,carrying out
,working out of any thing ordered or
undertaken .This refers to out put or outcome.

Strategic Plan:
• Strategic plan explains where an organization is,
what to achieve, when and how to achieve its
objectives. The strategic plan document also offers
critical directions or course of actions that help to
allocate resources and other means effectively. With
generation of right objectives it is a top down
approach. The strategic plan of the Corporation is
the main guideline to achieve its objectives
indicated in it.

Operational plan:
• It tells how to get things done with the
resources to achieve some objectives. The
operational plan of the Corporation is the plan
set for any budget year

• Initiation letter for strategic planning is


circulated to all concerned.
• Undertake survey and analyze external and
internal business situations
• Draw strategy to cope up with the situation
• Prepare action plans
• Discussion on the proposed Strategies
• Set the strategic objectives
