Indicator used worldwide to evaluate the


effectiveness of the use of equipment.
It helps identifying the causes of waste.

The CODI system


provides tools
to identify the
waste and
evaluate the
results.

The data collector called CDI100 is utilized


for machine checking and retrieves data from
the operator.
The collector have four digital
inputs / outputs , that can :
Receive information of parts produced.
Receive a signal from the machine to raise an
event.
Lock the machine in a pause or at the end of
production.
Turn off the machine at the end of production.

The communication with the collector server is through the


Ethernet network, which covers almost 100% presence of
industrial facilities.
The collector has two inputs for connecting a PS2 keyboard and
barcode reader.
3. CODI SYSTEM

The system CODI is fully WEB and can be


accessed by a registered user at any computer
that has access to the corporate network. If
company policy permits, a manager can monitor
its manufacturing facility anywhere in the
world.
The server can be installed on a computer
anywhere in the company, provided they have
access to the network.

The analysis reports are generated in PDF format.


Thus, they can be sent by email or printed
anywhere.

Field Description
A Time shift Total time for the calendar shift.

B Downtime due to lack Time that the action was stopped by a parade of type a lack of

C Downtime related to Time that the action was stopped by motives relating to the

cleaning injector nozzle.
D Downtime not related Time that the action was stopped by motives not related to the

F Shift Time Time the machine was producing.

G Standard time of Estimated time that the action has been producing good parts. It
production of good is the sum of the number of good parts times the standard time
parts of the part.

H Standard time Estimated time that the action has been producing bad parts. It
production of bad is the sum of the number of bad parts times the standard time of
parts the part.
3. CODI SYSTEM - EFFICIENCY GENERAL - OEE

Field Description
=F/A Availability index #1 Shows in percentage terms how long the resource has been producing during the
calendar time.
=F/(A-B) Availability index #2 Shows in percentage terms how long the resource has been producing during the
calendar time, but do not take into account the stops for lack of planning.

=F/(A-B-D) Availability index #3 Shows in percentage terms how long the resource has been producing during the
calendar time, but do not take into account the stops for lack of planning or those
not directly connected to the operator.
=(G+H)/F Operational performance index Indicates the machine's performance relative to standard time, registered in the
system.
=G/(G+H) Quality Index Indicates in percentage terms how much time the appeal was producing bad parts
with respect to the total production time.
=G/A OEE Index #1 Indicates the overall efficiency of the resource, considering all the stops.

=G/(A-B) OEE Index #2 Indicates the efficiency of the resource, regardless of the stops for lack of
programming. It is used to estimate the production management.
=G/(A-B-D) OEE Index #3 Indicates the efficiency of resource taking into account only the stops for the
operator. Indicates the efficiency of the operator.
