First Day

Whenever I walked into Mrs. Farris’ classroom, her aide was taking the
students binders and checking for notes or forms and students were
putting away their backpacks and belongings.
The students were all excited to see each other and be in the classroom as
they were instructed to sit on the rug and wait for morning
announcements.
After morning announcements the students go through a series of rotations
for Reading and Math along with time for science and social studies.
Students will go to P.E., music and recess as well throughout the day.
Curriculum

Mrs. Farris is very organized and stays organized all year long.
She incorporates many ways of learning along with attention
getters to keep the students interested.
She does videos, games and plenty of hands on activities for
the students.
She also appeals to all learning styles in her classroom. She is
always producing new ways to introduce new things.
Teaching Style

I thoroughly enjoy watching Mrs. Farris teach.

She does a mix of both teacher lead and student lead
learning.
She gives her students opportunities to be
independent.
What did I learn?

I learned a lot of things from Mrs. Farris, her classroom

and her students.
I will stay organized to keep things moving smoothly, I
will appeal to all learning styles and I will produce new
ideas to help students learn.
