ELECTRONIC DIESEL CONTROL SYSTEM

• The elimination of a mechanical governor, its place on the pump


camshaft being taken by an impulse disc that rotates about a
stationary speed sensor.
• The provision of a linear solenoid actuator, which constantly
adjusts the position of a spring-returned control rod for the
pumping elements.
• The addition of a sensor that detects the changing position of the
pump control rod.

Fuel System Outline of CRI
System
The high-pressure fuel generated by the fuel
supply pump goes from the common rail and is
distributed to each cylinder. The start and finish
of injection is controlled by opening or closing
the nozzle needle valve by using an
electromagnetic valve inside the injector.

The CRI system consists of the fuel supply


pump, common rail, injectors, ECU and sensors
that control them.

Sistem bahan bakar common rail dapat dibagi menjadi
3 bagian, yaitu
Saluran tekanan rendah,

Saluran tekanan rendah dimulai dari tangki bahan


bakar sampai pompa tekanan tinggi
Saluran tekanan tinggi

Pompa tekanan tinggi memompakan bahan bakar ke


dalam rail sesuai putaran mesin.
Tekanan bahan bakar di dalam rail diatur oleh fuel rail
pressure control valve yang diatur ECU
Saluran pengembali.

Mengembalikan kelebihan bahan bakar yang berasal


dari injektor, fuel metering control valve, dan fuel rail
pressure control valve ke tangki bahan bakar.

Injektor
The function of the injectors is to inject high-pressure fuel from the
common rail according to the signal from the ECU into the injection
chamber of the engine at the optimum fuel injection timing, fuel
injection amount, fuel injection ratio and spray condition.
